The truth is yes. There are multiple reasons to sign the dotted line. The two main reasons are 1) not having enough deposit money and you desparately need to buy..... Then "Just Do It" 2) you don't mind building equity very slowly because you need to free up cash for other investments. If you do have a sizable intial deposit, then pass on the "40 Year Mortgage home Loan". It'll just take longer to pay-off the property. As a mortgage broker, 40 year mortgage loans have a smaller impact in terms of fiscal year / calendar year contributions from the loan you carry.
