The Washington Association of Mortgage Brokers (WAMB) announced that House Bill 2340 has been passed. In an effort to ensure consumer protection by reducing the potential for fraud, WAMB provided unwavering support of this legislative initiative, which involves loan officer licensing and expanded examination authority by the Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) in the state of Washington.
